Bio

Francisco Garcia is the current Head of Cooperation of the European Union in Chile, where he has recently arrived from his previous position as Head of the South America sector in the General Directorate of International Associations and Cooperation of the EU in Brussels. With a background in business administration and a master’s degree in financial markets, he has an extensive career of more than 25 years in the EU, where he began working to promote European exports to Japan and South Korea, having since held positions in very different countries and contexts such as Madagascar, Mozambique, Bolivia or Colombia.
