Ana Luisa Veroneze Solórzano

Ana is a Master’s student in Computer Science at UFRGS, advised by Prof. Dr. Lucas M. Schnorr. She has a Bachelor in Computer Science at UFSM, where she started researching in HPC and volunteering in projects in Education in Computer Science, advised by Prof. Dr. Andrea S. Charão. She has been researching in projects on performance analysis of scientific applications and distributed deep learning frameworks. Besides working in HPC, she advocates for more diversity in tech, co-founding Brazilians in Tech (https://braziliansintech.com), an NGO to share opportunities and give visibility to Brazilian women in technology. In 2020, she co-founded the Women in HPC Affiliate in the South of Brazil.
