Zulemma Bazurto
Zulemma Bazurto Blacio is a Lecturer in Statistics working full-time at the ‘Universidad de Guayaquil’ and a board member of the Ecuadorian Statistical Society. Zulemma spends part of her time teaching courses and writing teaching material on her research topics. She is part of the team that translate some books to Spanish, such as: “R for Data Science” and “Teaching Tech Together:How to create and deliver lessons that work and build a teaching community around them”. She’s an active member of the R Community like Founder of R-Ladies Guayaquil and Co-Founder of R-Ladies Galapagos. Her research interests are focused on Generalized Linear Models and Robust Statistical Methods.
