Workshop Articles General Rules

CARLA is an international conference that since 2014 provides a forum to foster the growth and strength of the High-Performance Computing (HPC) community in Latin America through the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, techniques, and research in HPC and its applications areas. In 2022, the Latin America High Performance Computing Conference (CARLA 2022) will be in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in September 26-30, 2022.

If the workshop will receive article submissions, please follow these general rules:

• All submissions for workshop articles must be in English, the only official language of the conference.
• Workshop regular articles should not exceed 8 pages (including references), but abstract submissions (short articles) may be available also as one or two-pages long.
• All submitted workshop research articles must be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers.
• Only contributions that are not submitted elsewhere or currently under review will be considered.
• Only accepted contributions presented at the conference workshops will be considered for publication.
• Article submission is handled electronically with Springer’s Online Conference System: OCS

We are currently studying possibilities for handling the per-workshop articles submission procedures and the corresponding publication of workshop articles. We expect to have more news about this soon, contact the workshop chairs for more information.
