Special Talk: “Digital Autonomy and Sovereign Compute Infrastructure powered by RISC-V”

ABSTRACT

This keynote will explore the vital role open hardware innovations powered by RISC-V play in shaping the modern digital infrastructure.  Emphasizing why open CPU is the critical building block across various markets such as HPC, data center, automotive, AI, edge compute, and client.  The push towards open hardware standards, represented by advancements such as the RISC-V CPU architecture and UCIe chiplet, offers a distinctive opportunity for innovative startups across all geographies. Embracing this movement can lead to increased self-reliance and decrease dependence on very few large companies.  We will explore emerging trends like heterogeneous compute, domain specific acceleration (DSA), and composability that are pivotal in this transformation.  Building on these trends, Ventana offers a comprehensive solution. We will showcase how Ventana's complete stack of high performance CPUs, chiplet technology, and optimized open-source RISC-V software stacks can be a key ally in  propelling these movements forward
