Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at CalPoly. My research interests are High-Performance Computing and Machine Learning. Since joining the Computer Science Department at CalPoly I have been teaching classes in Parallel Programming and Distributed Computing. Because of the collaborative nature of HPC, I started working on several machine learning acceleration projects, which led me also to do research in Deep Learning
