He has experience in computer science and software development, with an emphasis on high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence; working mainly on machine learning, performance evaluation, load balancing and scheduling, pattern recognition, and time series analysis. He holds a degree in Systems Engineering and Master’s degree in Engineering, Informatics, and Computer Science, both from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), Colombia, and a PhD in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil.
